Charlie’s cake smash photoshoot – West Sussex specialist cake smash photographer.
Charlie’s Mum and Dad brought him to see me here in Bognor Regis (West Sussex), for a fun filled and rather messy cake smash. Charlie was going to be one in a few week’s time, and Mum wanted the images to be ready for the big day. Mum had bought his gorgeous little outfit for the cake smash part of the photoshoot herself, so again I knew what colours I needed to use to make sure everything went well together. This time I opted for stripy blue tissue flowers to match the stripes of his outfit, along with baby blue bunting and two tone blue helium filled balloons.
Mum chose for us to have a cake baked especially for the photoshoot from a local baker Cakealushus
Cake smash photoshoots are run in a one hour studio session. this time is divided between – 20 minutes standard studio session, 20 minutes cake smash, 20 minutes splash in the that bath tub. Mum brought along some gorgeous smart clothes for Charlie to wear during the standard part of the session, and then changed him into his cake smash outfit for the messy fun bit. His favourite part of the shoot was the splash at the end (as you can see by the smiles!)
These sessions can be very messy, please do not worry! I run them on background paper, which means that after each session I can cut off the messy bit and the next piece is always clean for the next session.
I hope you had an amazing first birthday Charlie, and hope to see you all again.

Arez’s cake smash photoshoot- Cake-smash-photography-west-sussex.
In November I had a visit from Arez and his lovely family. They had chosen for him to come and have a cake smash photoshoot, here with me in Bognor Regis (West Sussex). I had a few online chats with his Mum to find out what she wanted for the photoshoot itself. Mum had already bought him an outfit to wear for the cake smash part of the photoshoot, so having seen some photos of it, I was able to arrange the bunting and other decorations to match perfectly (I stumbled across the lovely lady who made the outfit and bought the bunting to match it).
As standard for my cake smash shoots, the session ran as – 20 minute standard shoot, 20 minutes cake smashing fun, and then 20 minutes getting cleaned up and having fun splashing in the bath.
Arez was a little hesitant to get stuck in to the cake (which is very, very normal), but after a few minutes he warmed up to the idea and even had a helping hand from his big brother too!
His favourite section was definitely the splash section at the end which you can see from his lovely smiling shots below! I always ask parents to bring along baby’s usual bubble bath to the photoshoot, which helps baby to feel comfortable in the splash section of the cake smash.

Saturday 4th November I am running my Christmas mini shoot sessions for 2017.
The idea behind Christmas mini sessions is that most people want a few photos for Christmas, and not a full one hour session. Having a full day of mini sessions means I can keep the cost of the photoshoots down too!
This year I bought some stunning new backdrops which have made all the difference to the images I can create.
How to book –
You can book a session using my contact form.
These mini sessions are £99 for a 20 minute slot and with that you receive 5 high resolution images to print as and when you like. Each child alse receives a cookie and some milk as part of the photoshoot.
Here are some examples of the sort of images you can expect …….
Thank you for reading this blog post and following my work.
Back in September the lovely Siobhan came along to see me with her gorgeous family. Her little girl had not long turned one and had been given a photoshoot voucher for her Birthday. This was an hour photoshoot and included photos of the whole family, and some of their little girl on her own. We managed to get some lovely relaxed photo of them all during the session. I think you will agree they make a cute little family!
An hour’s photoshoot costs £65, images are then purchased separately at a viewing session roughly two weeks after the photoshoot. Please do contact me if you would like any more information or to book a photoshoot.
Thank you for reading,
Back in August Josie brought her family along for a family photoshoot. They decided to go for an hour family photoshoot, including photos of them all together, and also ones just of baby. This is a lovely way to photograph a baby who is not yet sitting up but is a little over the age that we can ideally do a newborn photoshoot for. I like to go through all the family variations that the family want and then move on to some more stylised photos of baby on their own.
This type of photoshoot currently costs £65 for an hour and then images are bought separately at a viewing session a couple of weeks after.
Here are a few of the gorgeous images we got during the session.
Please do contact me if you would like more information or to book a photoshoot.

Maternity photography records an amazing time in yours and your babies’ lives, you carry your baby for 9 short months, so lets record this time for you to remember. This may be the start of your family, it may be a continuation of your family, it is most definitely a precious time and worthy of recording in stunning images for you to treasure.
A couple of weeks ago the gorgeous Laura came to see me in my home studio in Bognor Regis (West Sussex), Laura was amazingly due the day after her photoshoot!
Maternity photoshoots are best towards the end of your pregnancy (although I wouldn’t usually suggest quite so close to your due date as this one was as baby can sometimes make an appearance early!).
Neutral clothing usually works best, although I now have a selection of clothing that we can use as well (All images from this shoot used my clothing other than Laura’s own jeans and white t shirt).
Why not record your pregnancy with a gorgeous maternity photoshoot? These can be booked at any time during your pregnancy, and are best planned for around 3 or 4 weeks before your due date, allowing us to capture your bump at it’s best and not risk baby coming early and before we do the shoot.
Clothing can be provided for your photoshoot, and you are more than welcome to bring any clothing or props you would like included in your session as well. Partners and children are also welcome to come along to your photoshoot and are encouraged to be involved so we can record this time for the whole family.
Maternity photoshoots are £65 for an hour (either studio or natural outdoors), images are then purchased separately at your viewing session. Please contact us for more information about pricing or to book a photoshoot.
Gorgeous sitter session photoshoot ~ Bognor Regis family photographer
Once your perfect newborn baby is a little older, why not book a sitter session? These are ideal for babies who can sit unaided but are not on the move just yet. This stage in your baby’s life is really very fleeting, and allows us to get some magical images recording his progress.
If you would like more information or to book a photoshoot please use the contact form here.
Prices (as of 15/05/17) are £65 for the hour photoshoot. Products are then available to buy at your viewing session.
I’m on a bit of a mission at the moment, this mission is to get whole families having photos taken. Not necessarily by me, but in whatever form you would like. I think that having images for your children to look at daily, up on your walls of your home, is invaluable when it comes to the whole family feeling part of the whole, and knowing they will always have a place to call home!
Having a photoshoot?
I will always give you the option of whole family photos as part of your photoshoot. Not all families take up the offer, some parents prefer to have the time spent on just the kids, but I will always offer! (I will not be upset if you decide not to get in the photos, it is your photoshoot and your choice, however I will tell you that if you have a few full family shots taken, you don’t need to actually buy them, but you may as well have them done while you are here).
Debbies family photoshoot.
Debbie comes to me for her family photos about once a year. Here are a few of the images we got from this years’ shoot.

In July I was honoured to be able to photograph the wedding of Becky and Jamie. Their wedding was at the lovely Hilton Avisford Park Hotel near Arundel, West Sussex, set in amazing gardens and with a golf course on site. The day of the wedding was absolutely stunning, the sun shone the entire time.
I was lucky enough to be able to shoot both bridal preparations and groom preparations as well as both parties stayed at the hotel the night before.
Both Becky and Jamie looked amazing on the day, and made my job so easy. You can really see how much in love these guys are, and how much the day meant to both them and their family and friends too.
Here are a few of the images we got from the day.
I wish you both all the very best in your future together, may it bring you much luck, health and happiness.
It is an honour to be able to record the most special day in a couple’s life, I am always humbled and often moved by the emotion of the day.
If you would like me to cover your wedding day, please contact me using the contact form, all weddings are quoted on a case by case basis as I believe that your wedding photography should be as individual as you are as a couple. I never work from a set list of what I provide as I prefer to tailor to your exact needs.
